A one way ticket round the world please...

IMG_9790
Whilst the title might not make sense to you, it does to me. I basically would love to travel forever. I mean I haven't had much experience, but the minor experience I have had, soaking up different culture, food, atmospheres and people is such an overwhelming feeling, one that I want to last forever.

I mean I might be delirious due to the lack of a sleep, but it's sparked a light-bulb in my head... and without sounding like a 'Cringey Chris' for me life is to short just to sit in one place... apologies to these people reading this and taking offence, I just feel there's so much of the world you need to experience.

So this is where the post actually makes sense, rather than a massive post going off on a completely different tangent (as per!)  I've whittled down my long list of places.. to a top 3 (at the minute). So if you're feeling nice I would appreciate a trip to any of these destinations.. thank you in advance! (haha! Joking of course ;) )

Berlin

I've never had a holiday in the winter so Berlin in the winter for me.. yes please! One main focus for most people to go to Berlin is the historical aspect it played such a key role in shaping world history, as much I know a fair bit already.. I would love to learn and experience more right there! From the Holocaust Memorial to the Berlin Wall / East Side Gallery. That's something I enjoy about going holiday, coming back learning stuff or gaining more knowledge of history when you come back!- Fair enough some people might say you could read it in a textbook, but then they're boring sods!

I hate to go from historical to materialistic.. but this is where my two interests clash! Whilst the historical aspect is a huge reason, street style / fashion & culture is another! The unfinished, natural and eclectic look is something I've found far more inspiration for my clothing choice.. normally against luxury branded logos as well! Berlin in the fashion industry is developing and growing which is exciting!

Definitely recommend this book!

Barcelona

It wasn't until Art GCSE which sparked my interest to Barcelona *shivers* Art GCSE... worse time of anyone's school life! I loved sketching the Gaudi buildings (well attempting to), the architecture of Barcelona is absolutely divine. Another fascinating aspect is that it's a very cosmopolitan city with a mass amount of art and culture, so I could spend endless of amount of time visiting museums and exhibitions!... but then I would be missing out on the fantastic weather, and the opportunity to explore the beach, which is weird as I'm not one for beach & sunbathing holidays!.. but hey, it's Barcelona!

The food is a MUST as well, with most restaurants specialising with tapas.. is right up my street! Especially since I'm experimenting with my food. With so many food markets to explore I would be in heaven.. definitely beats popping down to your local Tesco (soz Tesco)

Florence

Basically like any place, I would to tour the whole of Italy.. and not just because I could happily live off pizza, pasta and ice-cream and come back to England 20st heavier! Again whittling down seems to be a thing on this post. If I had to whittle it down to a city it would have to be Florence.

As much I love catching the underground or the metro.. You can pretty much do the majority of Florence on foot.. which is something I enjoy, as you can happily stumble on across something unexpectedly! Especially with the delightful architecture, and numerous churches to see. Oooh and the most important museum for me would be the Uffizi Gallery which is Italy's most famous art gallery.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, I could only promise you I would have more if I visited them ;)

I may do a post nearer the summer, as I'm now umming - and aaaahing because I want to tell you all my thoughts, but then you'd be here forever! I mean this kind of post may have not sparked your interests in the slightest... but it's been an interesting one for me! Hopefully I will be able to tell you guys about these cities one day.. or you could tell me?!

Have you visited any of these places?!- I would love to know? or What's your top 3 places you want to visit!
