It’s That Time Of The Month #4 // Fashion Favourites.

sIt's unbelievable how quick this month has gone and I am back around doing my monthly favourites. If you remember the drill from my last then I applaud you, but for you newbies I state my favourite fashion icon, bloggers, outfits and purchase...So sit back relax, grab a cuppa / brew  and enjoy my fashion favourites..

Fashion Icons Of The Month:

gallery_1426000015-542015919cs00004zoolanderIf you didn't see this iconic moment of the Derek and Hansel walk off at Paris Fashion Week for Valentino, can I just ask where have you been hiding?! - I might need to know for future reference as you have done so well at hiding...

I also like to congratulate Leesa Evans, on the collaboration of humour and fashion and as we know I am someone that oozes with excitement over outlandish and gaudy patterns especially when they are executed into tailored suits. My favourite would have to be Hansel's (Wilson) cowboy print, especially the combination with the silk fabric. Men's fashion will always be something I am jealous of.

The film isn't coming out till February 2016, but this will be something that will remain on everyone's lips till then.

Favourite Blog:

Monica Barleycorn- http://www.helloomonica.com/IMG_2722I recently shot some street style at London Fashion Week, which I saw Monica Barleycorn , and fell in love with her tapestry coat and knew I had to follow her blog for her personal style. Not to mention to my uber jealously for her wardrobe (yes please can I steal all of your clothes) her photos for both ootd's and products are captured beautifully in terms of lighting and depth of field.

A genre I love reading recently is travel, maybe it's because it's summer and I dream of jetting away everyday (we can only dream). I'm going to New York next year so after scrolling through the New York archives I've noted down all the places I want to go to. Again I was just captivated by her photography especially on the Brookyln post so check that out!

Can't wait to read more! And you guys should totally follow her :)

Favourite Outfit:

OOTD- Trench It Up. img_1787 img_1815Till the day a Burberry trench coat pops into my wardrobe I will be living in this, so yeah maybe till the day I die. - This is the perfect high street dupe, as I find it so hard in terms of camel colour, and the buttons and the belt to all match and be in sync with each other, but I finally found one I'm happy with.

I've recently been loving teaming up my loafers with socks, in the summer I'm definitely start branching out with brighter socks as a pop of colour, or I actually think the forbidden socks and sandals may work and become popular this season.

This outfit I feel, represents British style very well, and a homage to my British heritage. As I'm someone that's interested in British brands and how they'e developed (yes, I'm talking to you Burberry). As the weather has been abit misleading recently  so  I suppose the start of spring as  a few pros, I religiously live in my trench coat. It's such a staple piece to any wardrobe.

Favourite New Purchase:

Camel Fedora- TopmanIMG_2714Fedora / puritan style hats are such a wardrobe staple in terms of all seasons and in terms of transforming an outfit.

Confession hour, we're all friends here now but I have to buy men's hats but it's because I have so much hair it makes it impossible to find the perfect one. I recently had the plain black one from Topman, and finally discovered the camel one. Now I just need a burgundy one to complete the collection... oooh and an emerald green one!

Hope you enjoyed these fashion dedicated favourites this month! Any blogs you would recommend?! I would love to discover more before next month’s favourites. Again you know the drill if you haven’t already I would love a follow on here, Bloglovin, and take a look at my Instagram and Twitter while you’re at it.

Thank you! bye :)

  2. Don't you worry. I'll block your blog from my reader right now and neither me nor my "self promotion" will bother you anymore seeing as your posts wont appear! I hope this improves your day highly, seeing as it seems to bother you enough to write about it! Oh, quick note: if you get so upset by people's comments, you might want to consider making your blog private, or leave social media overall. You're welcome by the way!

  3. Self promoting is not acceptable on somebody else's posts. It detracts away from the blogger, their work and puts the focus on yourself. Rude. Comments are very much appreciated as interaction with our readers is one of the highlights of blogging but self promoters like you ruin it.
