Oh hey guys and girls, this month I've decided to mix up my favourites a bit, because to think about it (I can't be the only one) sometimes you have to scramble and it's hard to think what actually has been my favourites products and to be honest, I haven't loved anything new or exciting this month. This made me dwindle on the idea my favourites should just be fashion favourites. With my favourite look, blogger, purchase and outfit. Short, sweet and snappy!
Hope you enjoy this, as I definitely preferred this favourite post to my other one.
Fashion Icon Of The Month:
All bow down to the eyebrow queen that is Cara Delevingne. I have to say I'm not normally a fan of her style to be honest, especially after seeing her at the Topshop AW'15, so I was blown away by this look. Following award season like crazy, I was left uninspired with the same, old same old ballgowns, however I loved this effortless, 70's androgynous look. Also I think James Bay was a certain style icon with this look as well, which makes it even more dreamy, while others may say Harry Styles... but nah he shouldn't deserve the credit on this one. The undone shirt, with lace bra underneath also worked, which you all could agree if you tried this look yourself I'm sure someone would comment "Your shirt's undone love" but she just manages to rock it. (Pun not intended with the "rock chick" look).
Charly Cox- http://www.stylethenatives.co/
#girlcrush I've been a fan of Charly Cox for a long while now, but you now one night or shall I say early hours of the morning your scrolling through the deeps of the inter-web and you rekindle your greatests loves... well yeah that happened. Welcome to STYLE THE NATIVES.CO As well as her empeccable style, and her excellent photography (which I'm totally not jealous of...) the way she voices what you're practically thinking, you question is she stuck in my brain every second. The execution is straight to the point, with added sass in her It's Okay To Say No post was just bravo, #girlpower! While she spills her stories of embarrassment you would expect me to just laugh at her despair but the relatable, oh my god best friend talk just makes me want to read more. If you haven't checked out her blog definitely do, my favourite fashion post was Laundromatic shoot
Ugghhh! It's that time of the season when it's not quite spring yet, but it's just coming out of winter. I mean prime example today I thought it was summer with the sun peaking through my window I grabbed my sunglasses and headed out to find snow in London. Not my finest time. Moving on.... trench coats are the perfect piece for autumn and spring, and whilst I can't afford a Burberry one for now Pull and Bear will have to do. I'm also in the long process of clearing my wardrobe out, and focusing on more practical pieces, which this whole look basically is.. I mean you can wear a satchel anywhere, black jeans are a must and well a fedora can just make you look cool, so why wouldn't you want to look like Clark Kent.
Favourite New Purchase:
I've been eyeing this number up for a while now, and it at first it started life out at £30, and well I refused to pay such a ridculous price. Then scrolling through the sale aisle with no luck of anything nice my guardian angel must have been around as the only one left, in my size and for half the price. Then I also got it another 50% so yeah this bad boy for £7.50 . This waistcoat comes with so many pro's not only does it look amazing over turtle necks and stripes (cliché blogger uniform I know) but I can now go to a fancy dress party as a gorilla or a black sheep. Win, win situation for us all!
Hope you enjoyed these fashion dedicated favourites this month! Any blogs you would recommend?! I would love to discover more before next month's favourites. Again you know the drill if you haven't already I would love a follow on here, instagram, twitter or Bloglovin.
Bye!
