In my head my title sounded like them circus people that try to entice an audience in.. and yep I am exactly that. Hello audience and welcome to my last post thinking about the events of 2014. WOOP WOOP.
TIME TO THINK ABOUT 2015
I hate being a dramatic diva, well I don't, I hate coming across to people over dramatic.. but anyway, for me this year has been one rollercoaster of a journey. From the shittest New Years possible -> doing well at uni, but hating the course I was doing -> shit flat mates, leaving nice course friends behind -> dropping out of uni -> the longest / shittest summer of my entire life -> except Paris, Paris was ace -> Getting an offer at London -> Studying Magazine Publishing -> Getting a job -> Loads of gigs -> starting my blog -> being in massive debt - > loving life again.
It's taken me sometime to think of some New Years resolutions, but to be honest they are pretty cliché ones, but let me explain.
*BE MORE ORGANISED
Anyone that knows me will say I'm the most un-organised person ever.. I always lose my keys, or my room is always a tip! I would literally save so much more time if I was organised, and probably my day to day tasks would be more simple. I doubt this will last long, but I mean it's already been a week and I've been very organised... so surely that counts as half a success right?!?
*GET HEALTHIER
Probably the most over-used and resolution that more than 90% of the time doesn't actually last.. but I feel it's essential.. you know everyone feels they need a detox after their indulgent Christmas, plus I've also been so in the habit of not cooking due to over-time at work, so I can't wait to get back to the gym and start eating properly. Also I bought a blender recently so you never know my Gordon Ramsey skills could pop out and their maybe a recipe post!. Also I had my first Big Mac ever, and it will probably be my last.. I feel like my food baby is going to be due any second.
*SHOP MORE ECO FRIENDLY & SPEND LESS MONEY
I confess I am an actual shop-a-holic, I feel the need to have new clothes ALL time.. when I quite frankly don't. So as soon as I get back to London (tomorrow) I'm having a massive clear out of my clothes, which means selling them or recycling them or giving them to charity. As I don't think it's necessary to have that many. I've also now decided to do more vintage shopping and invest more time trailing around Charity shops, I always see people buy great things for bargains.. and I like the idea of a more sentimental garment than a brand new piece from Topshop which probably 4 people on the same street will be wearing it.
*WALK MORE
This will help me save more money, but I mean I live in London so yeah the tube and bus journeys can be fun (#saddo) but I feel like you miss on so much. I want to explore more of London, also while doing these walks. I kinda like the idea of getting lost, as long as you have city mapper just as a back up in case you end up god knows where. Again this will interlink with my get healthier resolution. So it's all a win, win situation
*TRY NEW FOOD
In 2014 I have tried so many new foods, and I've been loving it. So I'm now approaching the idea when I visit restaurants and cafés to try something different... as I used to be like yeah I don't like that.. when it was only because I didn't like the sound or look of it and most of the time it's been a look and can be deceiving kinda thing.
I am an over explainer, but I feel that's good in some way, kinda gives you an insight into me, which will make you feel like we're best buds. I'm someone that adores Instagram and if you follow me on their you will know why.. but the photos on their have in a way made my 2014 look well WKD! so enjoy Kids, plus don't forget to follow me on Instagram.
Love this I love your lights too! Xx
